Do we not have more important things in this world to cure? Can you imagine all the things we could have done with the money that went into creating viagra? It’s not bad enough that companies have spent millions of dollars creating all types of male enhancement products, now they have female viagra. To increase the value of life. WHAT? Your telling me sex will increase the value of your life? Sex may be good at times, but it is not that important.
I think it’s time that we sit down and figure out what our priorities really should be. Worry about figuring out what causes cancer, how to prevent cancer, how to cure it. Figure out how to cure AIDS, MS, and a whole host of other problems that plague people everyday. Curing these problems would definitly increase the value of life.
Plus what type of message is this sending to kids watching television? Does it not seem to make sex more important if a pill has been created to make sure men can still do it when there 80?
I’m sorry but sometimes I seriously think we have just gone to hell in a handbasket.

Strangly enough, being male, I totally agree.
Good sex is important to the quality of life, but if your body can’t perform any longer, maybe your body is trying to send you a message about other health issues that make sex unsafe.
Anyway, physical performance is not, and have never been the most important thing about sexuality’s impact on your quality of life

I whole heartily agree. I do not think we need Viagra or a host of other drug ads on TV. My Dad was a hypochondriac and whenever he saw a drug ad strangely he would develop symptoms for whatever was advertised. But then I don’t have much trust in the medical profession anyway. I use homeopathic and herbal remedies. Only go to doctor to get checkups once every 4 months. Blood pressure pills are the only meds I take. Otherwise its vitamins only if I’m not eating right. And no wonder we can’t win the war on drugs. The young people see us popping all these ’scrips and think its okay to pop pills everyday. Enuff of a rant could go on and on . Love this blog ,Chele.!

Oh boy, yeah the crap they put on television commercials is another rant I plan to get too. I miss the days of old when they actually cared what went on tv.

Sex is one of the vital instincts, yes. this is surely necessary to keep going on the reproduction, and all living creatures are tended to give SOME priority to sex. But the question nowadays is, even with the capability to reproduction, how long the live forms would be staying here under this circumstances? a huge climate change, humanbegings trying to deteriorate even thier homeland with greedyness, wars, expanding uncontrolled terrorism, species erased from the earth minute by minute..
so, giving the first priority to sex is like trying to do it when pompei was being covered with the lavas..You cannot extend your genes to next generations, but if you are lucky(!) some archeologist can find you to exhibit your bodies years and years after..and if there would be any humanbeing still survived,
only comments they would say “poor things” , not “wow:.what a couple!”
