So now the Big 3 car manufacturers want a bailout.   They claim that if the government gives them like 30 billion dollars they can turn the companies around.   How is that going to work exactly?   They get billions of dollars, but the American people still can’t afford to purchase new cars, so where will the revenue come from?     I’m not a business major, so I could be wrong here, but for a car company to show a profit they must sell cars, correct?

So here is my thought.  Instead of giving the car companies the 30 billion, find low income families who desperately need a new car and buy them a car.   Kills two birds with 1 stone.   The low income family gets a much needed car and the car company will show a profit.    This doesn’t seem that hard to grasp, so why doesn’t the government figure this out?

Come on Congress, pull your head’s out of your butts and start focusing on who really counts, the American public!
