If a company comes out with a product and advertises it as the best product on the market, how can they come back later with the new and improved version of that product??? If it was already the best, what did they do to it?
Snapple is supposedly made from the best stuff on earth, but now it’s made with even better stuff?? What the hell did they do?!? Go off planet and find stuff?
Pizza Hut has been around for years and years, but now it’s commercials inform us that now we’re eating. What the hell was we doing at Pizza Hut before now?!?
Sorry, but this is one of those things that just gets my goat.

Oh yes…advertising…craft is king in advertising…if you cannot build a better mousetrap, just go ahead and con the public. You are hoping they are watching and listening to your commercials…so your account executives come up with their lastest pitch so that you can keep that ad money coming in from the advertisers who are your clients…
I thought the Snapple ad was just insipid.
Pizza Hut, ludicrious as well.
Totally agree with you on that front.
The reason: fast food frenzy in trying to get that consumer dollar, and all fast food companies are getting really cut-throat to get our consumer dollars–one dollar at a time in some cases, and mailing out incentive coupons as well.
Hard sell to get the middle and lower classes to spend their precious little money with THEIR fast food company; and yes, I do consider these chain pizza places, and sub shops, and burger joints, exactly that–fast food. It will only get worse in advertising.
