Recently I was helping a friend with their taxes and because of the tax changes last year, her husband didn’t pay in enough taxes so he owes the IRS. She was understandably upset and immediately blamed Obama. I told her he had changed it so that working families would have more money each week to try to help them out. So many people these days want to blame someone else for everything happens, especially the president. The Republicans are blaming Obama for the mess right now. They don’t want to blame Bush who made a complete and utter mockery of the presidency. Maybe I missed something, but I thought Clinton left us in pretty good shape. Then Bush came along and everything went to hell in a huge handbasket.
Now Obama comes along and he’s trying to help the situation. Do I blame Obama for the tax things? Nope. Last year I noticed on my paycheck that my federal tax withheld seemed too low. I asked a couple of coworkers and they said yeah there’s was too low too, but nobody seemed to know why and no one had done anything. I went looking for answers and found them. Everyone should have gotten a W-4 from their employers, sat down and figured out how much tax needed to be withheld so they wouldn’t owe any taxes this year. Fairly simple to fix I thought.
So who’s fault is it? Is it Obama’s fault for trying to help working families out with a little extra money each week or is the people’s fault for not doing anything? I say it’s the people’s fault. It was all over the news that the tax changes were happening. Everyone should have taken a minute or two to check to see if enough was being withheld.
It’s time to stop passing the blame and take responsibility.

The entire tax code is unnecessary. If all anyone had to do was pay a flat tax, same for everyone, there would not be any head scratching at tax time. No administration going back to the very institution of taxes, has does this little fix.
It is all that we need.

I agree that Obama is not to blame for a lot of the debt of the nation. That is as far as I will go.
Since Obama took office he has given money to corporations and banks etc. etc…..
WHY NOT GIVE THAT MONEY TO THE PEOPLE FOR USE IN PAYING THEIR BILLS; MORTGAGE,CREDIT CARDS AND CAR LOANS?
I don’t know how many people could have used that money but me I would have been completely out of debt with just a small amount from them.Under a hundred thousand dollars to pay off all my debt! WHAT DID HE DO? gave all that money to corporations and banks so they could give the top ceo’s a bonus!!!

None of the presidents are working for the little people. They are working for the people and businesses that geive them what they want!!

I never could understand giving the money to the corporations either. Instead of giving all that cash to the car companies, why not purchase a new more efficient car for people who actually needed a new car. The company would have made the revenue from the sale, it would have been a win/win situation. Instead of bailing out the banks, use the money to help pay off the mortgages, again, win/win.
Sometimes I think politicians need to pull their heads out of their asses, put down the cigar and the glass of scotch and actually start trying to do some good instead of worrying about their own bank account.
